Part of my Inktober series 2022 was the iconic Boris Karloff as the Mummy. Original was done on vine charcoal.

Sublimation uses heat to molecularly bond the ink to the item, as opposed to just drying on top.  That makes sublimated items heat resistant, scratch resistant, fade resistant and chipmunk resistant, alright they are like 98% percent chipmunk resistant, that guys name is Steve and you just give me a call if he's trying to mess with your coaster.
